In most cases, we can book your initial planning and assessment consultation within a few days.
Detoxes are usually scheduled one to two weeks after this assessment, allowing time for pathology results, thiamine loading (for alcohol detox), and your detox pack to be delivered.
We do not offer emergency or same-day detoxes, as safe withdrawal requires planning and medical assessment.

A nominated support person is required to be with you, and we provide clear guidance on what to expect and when to seek help.

AIR Detox provides doctor-led home detox programs for people who are suitable for withdrawal at home. Before starting, we assess your health, substance use, and support arrangements to ensure home detox is appropriate. During detox, you’re medically monitored and supported to manage symptoms and reduce risks.

Who can be my support person?

A support person can be a partner, family member, friend or trusted adult who can be available during the detox period. We’ll discuss suitability as part of the assessment.

Do I need a support person at home during detox?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A responsible adult is required to be available during the detox period to provide practical support and help monitor your wellbeing.
This can be one or two people, as long as someone is with you at all times during the detox.
Your support person does not need medical training, and we provide clear guidance on what to look out for and when to contact us.

Yes. We offer payment plans to help spread the cost of treatment over 6 or 10 weeks.
A 50% deposit is required to secure your detox start date.
