As the only doctor-led home alcohol detox service based on the Gold Coast, AIR Detox provides daily in-person visits to your home, prescription withdrawal medications, and 24/7 doctor access throughout the seven-day withdrawal period.

Cannabis is the most commonly used substance on the Gold Coast after alcohol, and many people who’ve been using heavily for years find stopping far more difficult than they expected. Disrupted sleep, anxiety, irritability, and cravings can persist for weeks — and without a medical plan, they often lead people back to using. Our cannabis home detox provides structured daily support, prescription medication where indicated, and a personalised withdrawal plan built around your pattern of use.

In-Person vs Telehealth — Gold Coast
Gold Coast residents have access to both our in-person and telehealth programs. For most patients, in-person care is the preferred option — daily home visits from your doctor provide the closest level of monitoring and the most hands-on support through the withdrawal phase. Telehealth is a clinically appropriate alternative for patients with lower medical risk, or those who prefer the flexibility of video-based care.

We provide in-person care for alcohol, cannabis, and stimulant withdrawal across this area, including the northern Gold Coast, Southport, Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Robina, Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach, and Coolangatta.
Patients from outside the Gold Coast region are welcome to arrange temporary accommodation locally during the withdrawal period to access in-person care. Telehealth services are available to patients anywhere in Australia.
