Service Delivery Options

Telehealth or In-Person

If you are living with alcohol, cannabis, or cocaine dependency, you can begin your recovery journey safely at home. Our programs provide expert medical care and daily guidance throughout the detox process, supporting you to withdraw in comfort and privacy.

We offer two ways to complete your home detox program: telehealth or in-person care. Both options follow the same structured medical protocol, ensuring safety, comfort, and comprehensive support from start to finish.

Telehealth

Delivered through secure video consultations, this option is available Australia-wide. It’s best suited for lower-risk cases and offers convenience without compromising on care. You’ll be reviewed daily by our doctor, with 24/7 support as needed.

In-Person

If you live on the Gold Coast or can arrange temporary accommodation, our in-person program provides the gold standard of home detox care. A qualified healthcare professional will visit you daily to monitor your progress, with hands-on support throughout your detox.

Our Process

What to Expect at Each Step

Every client goes through the same carefully designed process to ensure a safe, effective, and personalised detox experience — no matter which delivery option you choose.

Step 1: Initial Assessment

1-2 Weeks

Your journey starts with a comprehensive medical consultation. During this appointment, we review your medical history, current medications, and treatment goals. We also arrange any necessary blood tests and prescribe supplements such as vitamin B1 (thiamine) to prepare your body for detox.

Based on your assessment, we create a tailored treatment plan designed to keep you safe and comfortable throughout withdrawal. This includes medication to reduce symptoms, guidance for your nominated support person, and a daily review schedule.

Step 2: Withdrawal

1 Week

Once your care plan is confirmed, your detox starts at home. You’ll have daily medical reviews — delivered via telehealth or in-person — along with clear guidance, support, and medication when clinically indicated. Throughout the withdrawal process, your symptoms and progress are closely monitored. Adjustments are made as needed to maintain safety and comfort. Our doctor remains in regular contact, and you’ll have a direct line for urgent questions or concerns, ensuring both you and your support person feel confident and supported.

Step 3: Aftercare

12 Months

At the end of the week you’ll receive a tailored aftercare plan with strategies to maintain progress, information on any medications that may be prescribed, and referrals to additional healthcare services if needed. We also send a detailed discharge summary to your healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.

To support your long-term wellbeing, we schedule regular clinical follow-up appointments across 12 months, with flexibility to add extra reviews if required. These check-ins help us monitor your progress and adjust your plan so you stay supported every step of the way.

Eligibility

To ensure your safety, each client must have a support person who can remain with them during the seven-day withdrawal period. This is usually a loved one or close friend who you want to be involved in your care. They don’t need any medical training. They just need to keep a close eye on you and contact our doctor if they have any questions or concerns.
