Why We Chose To Pursue QIC Accreditation

What the QIC Standards Are
The QIC Health and Community Services Standards are one of Australia’s longest-standing health and community sector accreditation frameworks. They assess whether an organisation delivers safe, effective and person-centred care, and whether it has sound governance, quality systems and responsible clinical processes.
Importantly, the QIC Standards are one of the few accreditation pathways recognised under the National Quality Framework for Drug and Alcohol Treatment Services. This means:
- QIC accreditation is accepted nationally
- It is relevant to AOD treatment, withdrawal support and community-based care
- It demonstrates that AIR Detox meets independent benchmarks for safety and quality
